For the dens caroling at the LI Vets Home, Here are direction from Glen Itzkowitz.
TO LONG ISLAND STATE VETERANS HOME, SUNY-STONY BROOK
 
From St. James
 347 East to Nicolls Road. Make a left onto Nicholls Road (heading north).
Approx. 1.5 miles make a right turn into the South Entrance of East Campus.
At first light make a right (Patriots Road). Follow Patriots Road for several
hundred yards into the parking lot for the Long Island State Veterans Home.
Photo Identification is required for all adults entering the facility.
